THE GENTLE WILD II
Paintings of wild animals leap and run around the walls of the Malthouse. Kerry Phippen’s desire is to capture the sense of the animal, their very nature and traits and of course, their beauty and this exhibition certainly does all that. These ink paintings on handmade Indian rag paper, combine her love for ink as
a medium,  ne papers and gorgeous wild creatures. There will also be new framed as well as unframed works

ISOBEL PRITCHARD
A collection of new works
by painter and printmaker Isobel Pritchard ranging from completely abstract works
to more  gurative pieces
of interior spaces. Isobel’s work is primarily about the formal aspects of colour and composition, and she has spent the last year exploring the nature of these aspects
and the relationship between them. The majority of the pieces are mono-prints. Mono- printing is a very low tech and immediate form of printmaking that allows Isobel to explore texture and create prints
that are painterly in nature preferring immediacy and spontaneity to planning and precision...
