Spilling out onto the town’s streets and open spaces, the Fringe will see
a troupe of specially selected entertainers wowing visitors with acrobatic tricks and circus skills. Curated by the inimitable Bruce Airhead, performers include Angie Mack, a captivating hula-hooper who has taken her exuberant, “hooptastic” approach to spinning around the world, including a stint at Glastonbury Festival; Dick Danger, a self-confessed health and safety nightmare with a penchant for tight trousers and gravity defying stunts; and Guy Collins, whose Groovy Guy Show combines juggling, circus and magic. Plus Bill Ferguson, the Invisible Men and Bruce Airhead’s own amazing acts of in ation!
The craft tent in Bank Gardens will have lots going on to keep the little ones occupied including ag making for Sunday’s Fringe Procession through the town. Stroud Library will be popping-up too for stories and more! Then it’s the kids turn for belly laughs on Sunday morning at the Cornhill Stage as Kai Gwyn hosts a comedy extravaganza including Rachel Sambrooks, author
of The Strangest Sandwich in the World; John Dougherty (author of the stupendous Stinkbomb & Ketchup- Face) and headliner Hannah Silvester. Hannah is a hilarious kid’s comedian and resident at The Laughing Sole Comedy for Kids Show. It’s going to be a right laugh!
